StrummA
is the brand name for our range of instruments including, acoustic
and electric Cigar Box StrummAs, Astick StrummAs, and accessories.
Based on the dulcimer concept, with
diatonic fretting, our instruments are fun for all ages,
all abilities, all music preferences.
Easy to play for beginners, but versatile for
advanced musicians.
You can make music with a StrummA within minutes
of getting your instrument, and you can't play wrong notes.
To start to play place your finger
on fret 1 string 1, and strum all three strings.
Move your finger up and down the frets whilst still strumming,
you are making music!
The StrummA range is both creative
and fun for all, a serious instrument in its own right but also
good as a trainer to move on to other instruments.
Standard tuning for the StrummA
is D A D but there are alternative ways of tuning.
They can be played fretting a single string, or by forming chords.
The StrummA only plays in one key that is why there are no wrong
notes.
The music that you can make is only limited by your imagination.
Many people give up learning to
play an instrument do to the frustration of not being able to
make music quickly enough, but with the StrummA you can make music
straight away.
Most people to whom we have demonstrated
StrummA we have taught them to play complicated sounding music
in under 3 minutes.
